David Barthelmess, Music Ministry David has served in various congregations as a music director for 21 years, and is involved with the Presbyterian Association of Musicians. He is well-known in the community as the Director of the Sylvan Singers, and is a teacher at Will C. Wood High School. He grew up in Montana, and attended Northwestern University, where he graduated with a major in music in 1967, and the University of Montana, where he graduated with a Masters in Choral Conducting in 1974. He is married to Michelle Barthelmess, and they have three children. |  | |
 | Bill Tennant, Organist/Pianist William Tennant earned a Master's degree in Piano performance from San Francisco State University, where he studied with Vladimir Brenner and Carlo Bussotti. He has performed throughout northern California in classical solo and four-hand recitals, ragtime concerts, new music programs, and musical theater. He has served as staff accompanist at San Francisco State and Skyline College, as organist for several churches in San Francisco and on the faculty of the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts and the Vallejo Conservatory for Music. Currently he is teaching piano privately in Vallejo. | |
Chancel Choir The Chancel Choir provides anthems and choral support to worship services throughout the year, including special services and memorial services. They meet on Wednesday evenings beginning at 7:15 PM in the Choir Room (C-5). |  | |
 | Chancel Bells The Chancel Bells provide high-quality bell anthems on a periodic basis. The Chancel Bells ring three octaves of Schulmerich handbells, and three octaves of Malmark handchimes. They meet on Wednesday afternoons at 5:00 PM in the Choir Room (C-5). | |
Praise Team The Praise Team gathers to prepare praise songs and anthems for congregational singing throughout the year, including special services and memorial services. They are supported by an instrumental team. . |  | |
